The popular G Series has been updated to offer the best of both worlds: classic and modern. The new updates improve playability and expand the tonal palette for greater versatility. The G250DX guitar uses ALNICO V magnetic pickups which is known as the "musical" magnet, which is sweeter and smoother than the Ceramic variety.
AMERICAN BASSWOOD BODY WITH QUILTED MAPLE TOP: The American basswood is strong in the lower midrange and has a very full and warm sound. The sound is big and full, but superbly balanced from low to high. The quilted top adds beauty and class for a high-end boutique style.
MAPLE FINGERBOARD: Unknown to many guitarists, the fingerboard is a vital component of the guitar's overall sound. Maple is a very popular choice due to its stiffness and stability, but also for its strong mid-high range punch and articulation. It also feels smooth and slippery, in addition to providing a classic look to the aesthetics of the instrument.
