The AF590MF is a concert-sized acoustic with a ringtone that is ideal for styles of music such as blues and fingerstyle country, as well as single-note solos in a variety of musical settings. The mahogany top, back and sides produce a focused, mid-rich sound that will cut through the mix. The black open pore finish feels great to the touch for added comfort and improved playability.
All Mahogany Model: Developed in accordance with recent trends in the acoustic guitar market, this model features not only the mahogany back and sides but also the top. Although it sounds darker than spruce, mahogany produces a warmer tone with a rich, full midrange.
Concert Body Shape: The Concerto's body size is smaller and produces a more focused and balanced sound than the Dreadnought with less emphasis on the bass and a strong midrange with clearer, sweeter highs. This sound balance of the Concerto body makes it ideal for fingerstyle playing and one-note solos.
12th Fret Neck Joint: The 12th fret neck joint on a steel-string acoustic conjures up images of vintage parlor guitars and classical guitars, making the instrument more compact but still producing a great sound.
Fishman Sonitone Preamp: Installed internally without cutting any of the woods, the Sonitone EQ system retains all the natural resonance and pure acoustic sound that other systems cannot. The controls are easy to use too, just volume and tone.
