The new K family crashes venture into new sound colors that are dark, funky, filling the drummer's need for alternative sounds. K group crashes feature the traditional K-style hammering technique with additional "group" hammer markings that generate a "dark" sound that drummers seek. 

They are extra thin in weight and include an open bell for greater tonal diffusion and additional sound frequencies.
