Vandoren began manufacturing this new model of V21 rods in the first quarter of 2015. Its objective is to obtain a mixture of the cut of the V12 rods and the conical shape of the 56 Rue Lepic rods. This unique combination gives rise to the V21, whose warm sound characterizes them for the result of a deep, homogeneous and rich sound. They help the performer with immediate vibration response and excellent sound projection.
