If music is your thing and you have the desire to take over the music scene, the opportunity has come to show your sound and educate yourself even more! The countdown of the call for the 5th version of the Arma tu Banda contest has begun .

The contest, organized by Ortizo Instrumentos Musicales, in alliance with the IAM Musical Academic Institute, Ozzy Bar, DC Magazine and Radionica , launch the 5th version of the Arma tu Banda 2018 contest . The competition aims to reward emerging musical talent, in the amateur bands category.

Under the motto 'The magic that inspires us' , Arma tu Banda rewards musical passion and talent with an incredible list of awards , which includes:

• Scholarships for one and a half year courses in any of the artistic programs of the IAM Institute.
• Instrumental equipment for a band: a Cort guitar and bass, a Tom Grasso 60W guitar amplifier and bass amplifier, a Tom Grasso acrylic acoustic drum kit and a set of Zildjian cymbals.
• Honorary recognition through publication in DC Magazine.
• Presentation on the Ozzy Bar stage; the most emblematic of national rock.

Musicians interested in participating in the contest must follow the following steps:

1. Follow Ortizo's official social networks, as well as those of each and every one of his allies.
2. Fill out the registration form available at www.ortizo.com.co until September 30, 2018 at 11:59 pm.
3. Demonstrate the magic that inspires you by editing a video of your own song on YouTube, with a maximum duration of four (4) minutes. The title of the video on YouTube must contain: “Arma tu Banda 2018 + name of the song + name of the group, band or soloist.”
4. The deadline to upload the video is October 21, 2018 at 11:59 pm.

The five finalists will be published on Ortizo's social networks on October 31. The winning band or soloist will be announced at the final meeting of Arma tu Banda, on November 20 on the Ozzy Bar stage .

Arma tu Banda will have the presence of the renowned musician and actor Ramiro Meneses among its jurors , and will only inform the other jurors of the finalists.
