The Player Lead III, a high-quality, low-priced import guitar. Fender created the Lead Series with a new solid body design, rigid bridges and new wiring options. The sleek new Lead models feature a set of Alnico Player humbucking pickups, dual-toggle switches for pickup selection and coil splits, and a modern "C" neck shape with medium jumbo frets. Available in Metallic Purple.

SPECIAL SWITCHING: Dual toggle switches offer tonal variety: the top provides pickup selection and the bottom splits the neck or bridge pickup.
HARDTAIL STRINGS THROUGH BODY STRAT BRIDGE: A hardtail bridge improves vibration transfer, resulting in greater sustain, while the six individual saddles can be adjusted for precise intonation along each string.
FENDER "F" TUNERS: These tuning machines offer the look and feel of classic styling with the added benefit of improved tuning stability.
